When the cotton is in its top state, it is dyed seven different shades of blue, and then blended and spun into yarn to create a beautiful, deep, "special navy blue."
We developed the "kachiiro" (brown) color, which is close to the indigo blue that was once called the "victory color," from the yarn and dyeing process.
■MAF Super120's
MAF wool is a rare breed produced under strict breeding management in the magnificent natural environment of the New Zealand highlands. It is a superfine wool that is soft, supple, fluffy, lustrous, and vibrant in color, and has just the right amount of firmness, stiffness, and elasticity for a beautifully tailored look.
■ Lining
The cupra material used for the lining and sleeve lining is "Fujiyama weave," a traditional technique cultivated at the foot of Mount Fuji. It is woven on a loom, of which there are only two left in Japan.
