Japan is one of the world's most famous wool production areas, from western Aichi Prefecture to parts of Gifu Prefecture. Blessed with the rich nature of the Kisogawa region that flows through Bishu, the area is fertile and has long been known as Japan's largest wool production area, accounting for approximately 80% of domestic production. It is unique in that it is consistently woven into fabric within this region. By slowly and carefully weaving using reliable techniques, we bring out the natural qualities of the yarn to the fullest, producing high-quality fabrics with excellent elasticity and durability.
