This opera neck sweater is made from a unique, made-in-Japan silk that overcomes the drawbacks of regular silk (it easily turns white and is difficult to wash). Furthermore, the back is plated with fine-count cotton polyester, which makes it feel smooth against the skin, improves the droopiness that is typical of silk, and helps it retain its shape.
This knit looks great as an adult business inner layer worn under a jacket, and can also be worn on its own for a variety of occasions, from business to casual to dressy.
